Take my life, and plant it in a child;
he can be worse for the wear.

But make his own, and watch him grow.
		Never stand in his way.

Make sure he listens
to the beat of his own heart and help him
struggle with whoever,
so he can overcome the strife
that living makes apparent.
		And let him now the wrong way,
		but help him choose the right.

His passage into man will lead him to a woman.
She will test his will and strength
and love him good.
His faith in her will prosper while her claws
attack his shoulders.
He will battle the decisions of a man.

If he is tempted into awful, she will punish him.
		And he will be alone.

Take my child and plant him in a life.
